I am better at investing these days, and I am in much firmer control of my financial destiny. There is no big secret to investment, no matter what the ‘Wise’ may say. There is, for them, a strong incentive to make it hard for us. They use strange words and talk in magical incantations so that we will put our faith in them and they in turn can cream off a tidy profit for themselves. This book, then, aims to help defrock such pretenders, and make it easy for individuals to do it for themselves, through the agency of that wonderful invention, the investment club. And who knows, it might crack your fizzing into a smile or two along the way.
