Cheap Inkjets

Three weeks ago, I cleaned out our old house so that we could put it on the market. Hubby had left a few things of ours in there, and I was absolutely dismayed to find that my old inkjet printer had been left next to a window and allowed to get wet. This was a tragedy, because this printer was made before electronic components broke so easily, and had already lasted eight years. It also didn’t use very much ink. In eight years, I had replaced the printer ink twice. That’s not true now. Yes, I can pay half of what I paid for that old printer for one with more bells and whistles, but chances are, it’s going to run out of ink before a month is up. Then I’ll be running to the office supply store and paying half again the cost of the printer just to replace the ink cartridges. It is ridiculous. I’ve quit playing that game. I started getting my printer ink online and that saved quite a bit of money. Then I ditched the cheap inkjets printer altogether and went with a laser printer, which seems to do better on the ink, even though it doesn’t print in color. That baby is fast though! I have to admit I still miss my old printer though. That thing was made to last.
